Not a link package — a campaign, priced by the story.

Every Drayton Mews commission is built around one piece of original research and the handful of reporters who would genuinely want it. You choose the size of the story; we look after the data, the writing, the pitching and a record of every link it earns.

Fees are fixed before anything begins and invoiced in two halves — the first at kickoff, the second on the morning your story goes to press. If you’re unsure which size suits, say so in your brief and we’ll recommend one, including when the honest answer is the smallest.

01 — Side by side

Three sizes of story, line by line

The difference between them is mostly the research: how much data we gather, how many angles it can carry, and how many desks will want it. Choose by the story you’d like told rather than a link count you’d like to hit — we’ll steer you if a smaller campaign would serve you just as well.

02 — The calendar

Every week of a Data Study, on one page

So your team can plan around it before we begin. The outlined rows are the only moments we’ll need you — rarely more than an hour or two each — and everything else is ours to carry.

Single Story

Skips the survey build — research runs in week one, and pitching closes after four weeks, around week six.

Data Study

As shown above. Press day usually falls on a Tuesday or Wednesday morning, when desks are planning the week.

Flagship Report

Adds a two-week panel survey at the start and an exclusive window before the wider pitch — about ten weeks in all.

03 — Smaller commissions

Smaller jobs, and the work we turn down

Not every brand needs a full campaign. These are the shorter pieces of work we take on most often, each at a fixed fee — and, opposite, the requests we’ll gently redirect.

  1. Re-angle & re-pitch

    $600

A study you ran last year — or one another agency left on the shelf — read afresh for a finding that still holds, rewritten with a new headline and pitched to a new desk list for four weeks.

Includes a method check. If the data won’t stand up to a reporter’s questions, we’ll tell you before you pay the second half.

    Ask about a re-pitch
  2. Story only

    From $600

For brands with their own PR people: we find the finding, write the story and the methodology note, design the charts, and hand over a desk list with angle notes. Your team does the pitching.

$600 from data you hold; $940 when we field a survey for you.

    Commission a story
  3. Regional cuts

    +$135

The same finding broken down by state or metro area, with a short write-up for each, so local business desks and Long Island papers have a reason to run it too.

An add-on for the Single Story; already part of the Data Study and Flagship.

    Add to a Single Story
  4. Spokesperson prep

    +$190

A 60-minute session before press day: the three questions reporters will ask, the numbers to know by heart, and how to say “I’d rather not speculate” graciously.

An add-on for the Single Story and Data Study; included in the Flagship.

04 — The brief

Send a brief — three angles come back, free

Choose a campaign below or leave it to us. Within two working days you’ll have three story angles we believe a reporter would run, the campaign that fits them, and the fee in writing.

  1. We read your site and any coverage you’ve had
  2. We check which desks are writing about your space this month
  3. You receive three angles and an honest recommendation

Rather talk it through? (516) 728-5723, Mon–Fri 10am–5:30pm, or info@draytonmews.com.

Your website, who you sell to, and any data you could share. A few rough lines is perfectly fine.
